To take your renovation a step further, Hubbell presents the best pop-up receptacles to help take your renovation project to the next level.
The Hubbell RCT200BZE is a highly rated pop-up receptacle from the RCT series that features two 15-amp receptacles positioned vertically on two opposite ends of the pop-up unit. Both receptacles are tamper-resistant and feature silicon gasket seals to provide resistance against water ingress. The top cover of the receptacle is a beautiful bronze color with a subtle brushed finish.
This pop-line is listed by UL 223A in the USA and cUL in Canada. Its innovative design is also in line with the NEC code 406.5E for countertops. It is important to note that the Hubbell RCT200BZE is tested for use in indoor spaces only. As the design is spill-tested, its water-resistant gasket and relevant features protect it against minor to moderate spills. This unit is not intended for installations prone to constant liquid exposure, like water fountains and pool areas. However, it is ideal for places like home and commercial kitchens, bar areas, hotel and restaurant lobbies.
The Hubbell RCT200BZE features an elegant four-inch round bronze-colored bezel that slightly rises above the counter level. Installation requires a three-and-a-half-inch round cutout on the countertop. When fully extended, the receptacle rises less than two inches above the counter, giving the unit a very elegant yet discreet appearance, both when it is opened or closed.
To make your Hubbell pop-up receptacle installation easy and further trouble-free, consult your local electrical inspector for updated information about your area's electrical regulations. We also recommend only entrusting your installation to certified elections and professionals to avoid potential damage to the unit.
