Aluminum Countertop Kitchen Countertop Outlets - Flush Mount
Hubbell has revolutionized pop-up receptacle usage and design with its innovative ideas that not only provide high quality but also a wide range of configurations with beautiful aesthetics. One of the highest-rated Hubbell products is the RCT pop-up receptacles line. This receptacles line features a wide range of vibrant top-cover colors, further elevating this design.
If you are unsure which color to choose, opt for the Hubbell RCT201ALU, the aluminum color receptacle. This Hubbell RCT pop-up receptacle features a beautiful traditional dark-hued brushed aluminum color on its top cover and bezel, which is a universal shade that blends well with both light and darker-shaded countertops.
The Hubbell RCT201ALU is a flush mount receptacle, and with its brushed aluminum finish, it creates a subdued yet beautiful look, making it perfect for hospitals, nursing homes, private and commercial kitchens. The color of the top lid allows this receptacle to blend in seamlessly with its surroundings, and the flush mount design means it will sit perfectly level with the countertop when closed without hindering the workings of a busy countertop.
The Hubbell RCT201ALU pop-up outlet features two 15-amp receptacles with silicon seals and gaskets to protect against moisture and dust. The design complies with NEC code 406.5E and is CSA, UL 223A, and cUL listed for installations in the US and Canada.
Installing the receptacle requires an appropriately sized hole in your countertop. So if you want to install this flush mount receptacle in a marble counter, it is best to hire a professional stone fabricator to create the hole to prevent any damage to the marble. It is also recommended to hire a certified electrician to install your new unit, as this pop-up receptacle requires hardwiring to a GFCI circuit.
The Hubbell RCT pop-up receptacle line is available in seven beautiful colors, so you can choose the one that complements your decor and style the best!

Knowing that these accidents will occur, Hubbell has test and designed these pop up outlets to be water resistant to up to a half gallon spill! To make this happen these units features a unique silicone gasket that seals and protects the outlets and inner mechanics from water entering the device when in the open or closed position. 1) Cut a circular hole approximately 3.5" in diameter in the countertop for surface mount installation. If installing a flush mounted trim, an additional counterbore cut is necessary: .09" deep with a 4" in diameter.
2) Remove the base from the housing to expose screw terminals.
CAUTION: Before handling the cable,
make sure the circuit is OFF.
3) Feed cable through the lock nut under the countertop, as this will secure the device later.
