IP66 Waterproof Rated Outdoor Floor Push Button Pop Up with 6 Keystone Jacks
The Lew Electric OB-1-SP-6PORT is an outdoor power supply unit featuring six empty keystone slots for easy port customization. This outdoor use-approved floor box is IP-66 rated, i.e., tested for protection against heavy water spray and dust exposure. The external plate features a robust gasket and seals to ensure no water or debris seeps into the box when the lid is closed.
The OB-1-SP-6PORT pop-up floor box features push-button operation for easy use. The lid is fitted with a gasket for appropriate insulation, and when closed, it lays flush with the floor to minimize any tripping hazard. The exposed top lid of the box features a sturdy stainless steel plate that can withstand heavy footfall, remaining resistant to rapid wear and corrosion. The six keystone slots can be used for power outlets, data connections, and AV device ports like HDMI, RCA, or coaxial. This makes it ideal for instances that require an uninterrupted independent power supply outside the house, like for Christmas decorations or powered gardening tools. To enable users to install multiple pop-up boxes, the box ring beneath the surface has hinges that allow for the connection of several boxes together.
This outdoor floor pop-up box can be installed in many commonly used outdoor flooring materials, including concrete, bricks, tiles, or asphalt. However, it cannot be used in wooden or similar material floors, nor is it designed for use in submerged water applications. Before installation, please consult with your local electrical inspector for the required authorizations. For safe and error-free results, the floor box installations should be assigned to a licensed electrical contractor only.
